Dr. Ravett grew up in Northern New Jersey and graduated from Tenafly High School. She attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Ravett then moved to Philadelphia, and continued her studies at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1985, and then completed a general practice residency at Abington Hospital.
Education has always been an important part of Stephanie’s career. She was an associate professor at The University of Pennsylvania’s dental school for a number of years. She has attended and completed numerous continuing education courses, and has studied with some of the foremost authorities in the dental field. She is a member of several local study clubs, as well as a member of The Academy of General Dentistry.
Stephanie was invited to join the Melman practice in 1992. She and Dr. Melman have been partners since 2003.
When not practicing dentistry, Stephanie can be found in her garden or at the Morris Arboretum.
